Cury cross

Cury 04This cross stands in the churchyard of Cury church. It was found during the 19thC, lying in a ditch on the edge of the churchyard and was placed in its present position in 1849.

You can just make out an incised cross on its face, with the bottom arm stretching down the shaft.

At nearly 2.6m it is one of the tallest churchyard crosses in Cornwall.
